Excellent, honest & friendly advice from Hugh throughout our mortgage application. Ive previously gone direct to banks/building societies but given the current market conditions I thought Id speak to a broker. Having considered a number of brokers and their associated fees I decided to instruct Hugh. I felt his fee was reasonable & fair for my circumstances and he is clearly an expert in his field as he knew various lenders policies well. He was able to use his experience to help me select the best option for our situation. Application was submitted smoothly and Hugh kept in touch throughout. I will absolutely be using Hugh again in the future and will be recommending him to all friends & family.

I can't recommend Hugh and Montahue Financial highly enough. Without Hugh, we couldn't have bought our property in this current climate. As first-time buyers we weren't sure if we needed a mortgage advisor or how the process even works, but if you are wondering the same, let me help you decide: call and hire Hugh. Just to give an example, when we started looking for properties every agent out there tried to convince us to switch over to their mortgages. As soon as we found our house the same agents were trying to tell us we can't buy from another agent because we'd committed to their mortgages (even though we haven't committed and explicitly told them we are not interested). Having Hugh's impartial advice during this process was so important that, he helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond his duties. Honestly, he is worth his weight in gold.
