If I could give this 0 I would. Awful awful awful. 5 hours to get a lock out drilling- fitted a non trading standards lock- rubbish screw fix/tool station ones, left great big gauges in wooden door, rubbish communication- said to come back at 12. Got back- didnt even ring me to say he needed longer eventually left at 4pm having arrived at 11am. Lock was also on wonky and kept catching- mechanism wasnt even working properly. Felt pressured into paying before work had been completed as I was due to move into the property next day and was stressed it wouldnt get done so paid up front. Called him next morning to complain, received very aggressive tone saying he wont answer my calls. An hour later he is at my new property noseying around without letting me know, then saw I was in and demanded to speak to me. Before taking pictures of the lock after whacking a load of dark varnish on top to try and cover it up. Got a fab locksmith to redo all his work and will try taking this guy to the small claims court. Will also be reporting to trading standard as other locksmiths in area have told me he has been reported before and they are always rectifying his work.
