Having been evicted from our flat due to demolition and read other reviews I have to say Magna made moving into our new, 1 bed flat very easy. Had a good straightforward experience. On getting to the flat in Sherbourne we found the painting and decorating to be of an immaculate standard and all was as it should be. We phoned Magna got keys and moved in. Thankyou magna you were a life saver !

Offer affordable social housing. Ability as an organisation to run a good customer centred business is very very poor. They rarely respond to customer questions. Many of the staff lack training, their skill level is third class, the trades workers are very competent and polite. As regards the anti Social Behavioural Team, they are well and truly out of their depth, running a KANGAROO COURT style of justice, in truth creating more problems than they solve. They are a very weak link in the services provided by Magna Housing Association.

Every contact that we have had with Magna has always been one of respect, even if about our arrears. We have been treated with dignity and understanding. Even when gas checks take place the standard letter after the visit actually made me cry the first time we received it. For context We were homeless during lockdown, the letter is standard sent out to all, however Magna has a line in the letter saying "thank you for letting us into your home". There are so many ways to contact Magna, each one made easy in their website. Yes sometimes calling in there are wait times, however every time we are responded to, always with respect. We have been tenants for three years and we have never once had an encounter with Magna or workers or trade workers, repair, workmen that have ever been more than respectful or highly skilled. We have had a team of workman in our home for about a week currently, they are eager to get on with the job. Highly skilled and no corners are cut. They lay protection on floors, worktops, they sweep up dust. Without Magna we would not have a home that actually feels like our home. In the most part we feel completely safe and so grateful for our home. With the tenancy agreement Everything was easy and straightforward and done with us as a family in mind. We have always been treated as individuals with politeness, patience and understanding.
