Matt Lucas and team are so kind and respectful. We had no idea what to do but he guided us through it all in a caring manner. Matt was not phased by the request for the funeral to take place a distance away. Highly recommended if sadly needed - absolutely 5 stars

After Co Op let us down we turned to Matthew Lucas, he came to see us the next day and organised everything within a week for the most amazing funeral. We cannot thank you enough for the send off you gave our brother/son/friend. Cant recommend them anymore if I tried!

Losing our son at 53 years of age was as you would expect devastating! So to have someone like Matt and his staff on hand to support us and see us through a very difficult time was so comforting! From the first day we walked into Matts office until the sad day of the cremation Matt and his staff ware superb. His understanding of the grief we were going through, his comforting manner and his attention to detail made a very sad and challenging time so much easier! I would recommend Matthew Lucas Funeral Director to anybody that is unfortunate enough to experience a loss and who want the best for their beloved! Simply the best! Thanks Matt. Matthew has helped to guide us as a family through the very sad and unexpected losses of both my mum in 2016 and my dad in 2021. Two very different styles of farewell handled with professionalism, dignity and compassion. Matthew offers the most amazing practical support and guidance at a time when it is needed the most. Matthews kindness shines through and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend Matthew and his team.
