So grateful to the owners for allowing people to walk through the farm. Favourite local walk. A warm welcome also awaits in the dog-friendly Snug cafe & farm shop.

We recently walked through the farm following a footpath trail we parked at long whittenham church and crossed over the Thames at Dale's Lock. After enjoying the scenery and loved watching the new lamb's when we reached the the fields with the ponies in it was lovely to see them the only bad comment is that somebody broke up a bale of hay but left the twine and the ponies had this around their hooves and also risked eating it. There were goats all playing very happily in the field on their toys Alpacas were waiting for people to fuss them with one very excitable brown alpaca who had been hand reared just dying for people's attention and fussing Eventually getting into the farm yard which is still on the footpath there's currently new barns and buildings going up but wow if I won the lottery I would want to own a place like this fantastic farm with so much going on if you like walking follow the route we took and refresh at the farm caf before you walk back you would be foolish to pass by on this

The alpaca walking is excellent and great fun. The walk will take over an hour, but the time really flies. There are also plenty of other animals, including sheep, goats, pigs, and the beautiful stud pictured below.
