        We found a beautiful thatched cottage through Dorset Hideaways in a village just outside Sherborne. Absolutely stunning chocolate box village and cottage. It was simply idyllic.

        Booked a large house for a family birthday (at a very COVID price). Paid for it. Invited guests. All plans made. After more than a month a phone call from Dorset Hideaways saying that they had 'double booked' and were cancelling our booking. Unlikely, unprofessional and dubious. Seems like there is a bit of a theme of getting a better offer going on with these...
