Highly recommended! Rob built me a 4.6 Top Hat engine for my Rover SD1. Great engine. Really helpful and professional service, always happy to answer questions over the phone. Very competitive price.

In mid-October 2020, after extensive research, we contacted V8 Developments (V8D). We received a reply from Rob Robertsen. He is V8 Racing but also V8D. He would make the engine, then it would be faster than if V8D did it!? Well, we ordered a 4.6 Warrior. After about 6 weeks we were supposed to transfer 50% to England "blind" and the rest on completion. We did that. Rob was easy to reach by phone, but not by email. I always had to email several times before I received an answer. I was promised photos several times, but to this day I have not received any. The engine arrived about 3 -4 weeks later. In the meantime the engine has been installed. Unfortunately, the engine was not delivered in perfect condition. 1. The fixing bolt of the flywheel could not be mounted, the bore was machined afterwards and could no longer be used. The flywheel was then fitted without the bolt. 2. a thread for the water pump was not available and had to be replaced with heli-coil. Extra cost of the workshop 175. Rob always had some excuses why he had not answered. Now that I have confronted him with the defects, he no longer answers. He always got the money immediately, without delay. I can't recommend this shop. Sorry Rob!
