YMCA offers training opportunities to 16+ who find usual colleges and 6th forms challenging. Class sizes are small and staff very supportive. Courses include Childcare, Traineeships and Employability Skills; maths and English are offered from functional skills to GCSE and placements are offered to students so they DO have experience when applying for jobs. There is a lot of practical support for neurodiverse students and particularly those with dyslexia.
