What can I say about Ion-Tec... I moved to the UK from Canada back in March. I was having trouble gaining any kind of traction in my job searches. My work experience for the last 15 years has been in maintenance as a mechanical technician and I was beginning to feel frustrated at the lack of responses that I was getting. I was applying to jobs that I was more than qualified for and either getting no response or turned down. Connor from Ion-Tec reached out to me after I applied to a listing on Indeed. It turns out that my CV was most likely the thing that was holding me back. The terminology used to describe my trade in Canada was different than here in the UK. It wasn't until he dug a bit deeper into my work experience that he discovered what I had to offer potential employers. After tweaking my CV to better reflect my work experience, Connor went to work. I started to get more interviews for quality employers and before I knew it, I was getting offers. Connor was very understanding of what I was looking for in a role. I definitely felt like he was working for me, trying to find the right fit for me and not just trying to fill a spot. Thanks to Connor and his efforts, I was able to secure employment with a reputable firm. This job has ticked all the right boxes for me and I can't say enough about the work that Ion-tec has done. Not only has Connor found the perfect job for me to get my feet wet in the UK job market, he has shown patience as I navigated through a process that was new to me. Connor has always taken the time to talk and answer any questions that I have had about working in a new country. I would highly recommend Ion-tec to anyone who is seeking employment. They have shown that they want to find the best job for the candidate as they do candidate for the job.

Absolutely cannot fault Steve on his overall professionalism and insight. He took the time to get to real specifics, firstly to know what I was about, my experience and what I was looking for, and then helped focus my CV and introduced me to a firm and a role I feel well fitted to. I'm happy with the position. Steve followed up to see after a couple of days how i was getting on and again a few weeks later Great recruiter !

Steve at ion-tec is one of the most professional recruiters I have ever encountered; he meticulously read through my CV and provided me with a thorough grasp of the firm and the role on offer. He appeared to have a genuine interest in engineering and supplied me with invaluable advice. Throughout the application process, he kept me updated through phone and e-mail, which is exceptional in today's world of standard automatic responses. I never usually leave reviews for anything but Ion-Tec 100% deserves all the praise in the world. Steve is one of, if not, the best/ most professional recruitment agent I have ever had contact with. He is passionate and knowledgeable about what he does and it really shows. I feel that Steve communicated with me and my new employer so well it got me the job!
