The Spinney

When I arrived we had a friendly the only thing that what might have been missing was a old-fashioned log fire but other than that everything was absolutely fantastic.

It has re-opend the first week we were made really welcomed, then all our hopes of getting our local back is not to be it's fine if you like karaoke on a Saturday night, most of us real regulars don't so we went to the winning post and had a really good night so the winning post can have our money. The spinney is still on the star pubs to let website so there's hope for it yet hopefully

We called in sunday night, good friendly people,we were a bit late,so just had a couple of drinks. So the Spinney at Balby Doncaster is now open. looking forward to one of your party nights. Wishing you all you all the best xx

Kathryn and Ann-Marie went above and beyond for my dads wake yesterday at the Spinney. From the second I met them both I felt at ease and knew I could trust them implicitly with giving my dad the send off he deserved. They were both warm, understanding, compassionate, kind and empathetic yet professional. Anne-Marie volunteered her assistance in producing a slide show of memories from my dads life which was played on the TV as we all walked inside and it was beautiful this made my life a lot easier as it was something she took the pressure/stress off me from. Then Kathryn unexpectedly presented us with a bouquet of flowers and card which were greatly appreciated. The food was fabulous and the way Kathryn & Ann-Marie greeted us on arrival was just lovely. I cant thank them both enough and highly recommend the Spinney as a venue for any occasion or indeed night out in general.
