We chose Home instead to care for my father when he began to need a little help with living independently. I cannot fault the care he was given, his carers became his friends too. They were all lovely people. They went above and beyond with the care they gave. Thankyou so much for all the help you gave my Dad.

We will be forever grateful for the care my Grandad received from Home Instead Doncaster and the kindness our whole family were shown by the team of carers and office staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the whole Home Instead team were a huge support to us. The care they provided was professional, respectful and kind. We would recommend Home Instead to any family looking for a care provider for a loved one.

Home Instead have provided care for my grandma for 2 and a half years. Not only do they meet their normal duties, the care staff go beyond. They welcome additional tasks with open arms and no problems. My grandma is 95 and a very independent, organised and routine woman, but is unable to fulfil her ways due to age and mobility issues. However, the staff accommodate this and ensure what she used to do, is still done with grandmas dignity remaining intact. After searching for a number of weeks, Home Instead provided the most well rounded service. This allows grandma to choose her visit times, in which the hour slots allow for medication, washing, meal prep, changing and cleaning assistance. Alongside, engaging in social interaction numerous times a day which have led to true friendships. The office team are friendly and organised which make liaising a relieving experience. Also, having access to the Care Planning app is a great addition. Not the cheapest, but would definitely recommend this service.

My 74 year old mum who is disabled and can not walk was with Homeinstead for almost 3 years 8 months 2 Carers two hours a day. then out of the blue they sent me an email saying they would be stopping her care in 7 days I never opened the email till the following afternoon as I was away this gave me 3 days to find cover as it included a weekend and bank holiday Monday I contacted the office and was told to email the manager who gave the reason due to COVID and they couldnt no longer supply the care my mum needed and the contact states they can stop care with 7 days notice ( no where in our paperwork from them it states 7 days notice) This is after 18 months of providing care during COVID restitutions/lockdown ect The contact was also with my mum who as still not received any correspondence from Homeinstead personally by phone or post ( she does not do email) After contacting social services who said to ask for an extension as there was no way to get a new care package in place at such short notice with another company the manager extended care a further five days they have not contacted us or checked to see if I had managed to get cover since the managers email extending the care or since the care from them finished The management as no compensation or duty of care To there clients or there Carers I will say the Carers are excellent and my mum is devastated and heartbroken not having them come anymore as she built up a bond with them over the years they was coming Avoid this company as I feel they will let anyone down as they did us without any care I have also been informed they have gave the same notice to number of other clients at the same time

My wife generally looks after my 95 year old Mum, but was recently diagnosed with Covid-19. Home Instead were asked to provide extra cover at less than 24 hours notice for the next fortnight. We had arranged for a Home Test for mum, the carer helped her with that too, and looked after her throughout the 14 day period. The carers have been vital for Mum and our family and we will retain them going forward. They are not cheap, but they turned up at the agreed times and the carers handled my grumpy old Mum very well in her own home. Thanks Home Instead!

My 74 year old mum who is disabled and can not walk was with Homeinstead for almost 3 years 8 months 2 Carers two hours a day. then out of the blue they sent me an email saying they would be stopping her care in 7 days I never opened the email till the following afternoon as I was away this gave me 3 days to find cover as it included a weekend and bank holiday Monday
I contacted the office and was told to email the manager who gave the reason due to COVID and they couldnt no longer supply the care my mum needed and the contact states they can stop care with 7 days notice ( no where in our paperwork from them it states 7 days notice)
This is after 18 months of providing care during COVID restitutions/lockdown ect
The contact was also with my mum who as still not received any correspondence from Homeinstead personally by phone or post ( she does not do email)
After contacting social services who said to ask for an extension as there was no way to get a new care package in place at such short notice with another company the manager extended care a further five days
they have not contacted us or checked to see if I had managed to get cover since the managers email extending the care or since the care from them finished
The management as no compensation or duty of care
To there clients or there Carers
I will say the Carers are excellent and my mum is devastated and heartbroken not having them come anymore as she built up a bond with them over the years they was coming
Avoid this company as I feel they will let anyone down as they did us without any care
I have also been informed they have gave the same notice to number of other clients at the same time
