Since I've been learning the bass with Tim, I have found you couldn't have a better teacher because he is so understanding of ones ability's and he works with that. I can recommend him 100%.

I started learning bass guitar with Tim a long time ago. And recently after a significant absence of playing I've picked up my bass again. This brought back memories of my lessons and Tim's tutoring. Let me start by saying you will not find a more passionate and accomplished musician to teach you music theory and the joys of playing music. Tim is a superbly talented musician, with a crucial knowledge that underpins the foundations of music theory. Tim put me through my graded bass exam, which I passed. Tim is friendly and humorous, and when I started as an absolute beginner, he was able to ease my nervousness and made it a pleasure to start my own musical journey. He is a patient tutor who wants his students to progress and succeed, and his commitment to this is palpable. Tim was always able to adapt our lessons to my individual needs, and encouraged me to take the lead in song choice and style when not following graded exercise. There is no doubt in my mind that Tim is one of the UK's finest bass guitar tutors, and if I still lived locally I would definitely be taking up lessons without any hesitation.
