Woodlea Care Home

My mother recently passed away, but during her 18months stay at this marvellous residence, my mother who wasnt the easiest of residents received such sympathetic care. Every member of staff bar none were exceptional in there attitude and caring ways. They gave Mum time, understanding, and a sympathetic ear. Even at the very end as they took Mum away , all the staff in respectful silence. Thankyou you all for what you did.

What a fantastic place Woodlea is. My Father has just passed away after spending several months there. All the staff worked hard to make my Dad feel comfortable and safe. They were so kind and gentle with him, treating him with respect and empathy at all times. Everyone of them was patient and caring and a,ways had a smile for all the residents. The room was lovely and the food was great. He had everything he needed and the staff were on hand at all times for his every need. At the end everyone was there for him day and night. We were kept informed and updated throughout. It was heartwarming to know that my Dad was never alone even in the night someone was with him every half hour or so. It is such a difficult awful decision to make having to put your most precious parent in a care home. We all worry if it is the right thing to do and if they are going to be treated how you would expect and how they have always been treated. Well I would recommend Woodlea to anyone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all at Woodlea. You made a difficult time easier to cope with and I know that my Dad is at peace now with your help.
