        We went to Frenchgate as I had seen an engagement ring that I liked (at a different jewellers) but was told we would have to come back half an hour later as the wedding advisor was on her lunch (at 3pm?) My partner and I are in our late 40s/early 50s and just wanted to see the ring - we have no need of a wedding advisor but this was refused by the young sales assistant. Feeling frustrated we left the shop and walked into H. Samuel where Maria was in total contrast to our previous experience. She has a lovely sense of humour and went out of her way to make us feel at ease, showed us numerous rings and when we found the one she managed to source it from a store in London and have it couriered to Doncaster. She made the entire process an absolute pleasure and we are extremely grateful to her for guiding us and helping us with such professionalism and genuine empathy. Our thanks again to Maria - you are a star!
