I have a problem with my patio door (condensation inside the glass). Wrote Keepmoat about this problem in August 2021, now November 2022, nothing has been changed. The customer service answer is - they have had difficulty with getting a company to do the repairs after the original one went out of business in lockdown. I understand this, but still waiting more than a year is awful. Very disappointed. Service: Home building

Buying a house, they say, can be the most excruciating part of your life with the rewards of a well-chosen property becoming your home the end objective most of us aspire to. One thing my husband and I further learned, you cannot rush a good, diligent search for a good home. And not with Keepmoat Homes. To cut a long experience story short as sadly, we are limited in Google Reviews to eke out all the details: - Theyve got an online booking system that is robotic, they cant even flexibly accommodate a visiting viewer on the day they want to view due to a fully booked log by the site, which is not fully booked on our visit. - They leave their sites unattended even on their supposed workdays of Thursdays Mondays. We came back on an agreed 2nd viewing on 9th May 2022 (Monday), and no cover for the sick Sales Exec was available. - They do not have a clue on their own procedures particularly for cash buyers. Two weeks from reservation date, they requested for a copy of our Proof of Funds when the conveyancer has already confirmed to them that we have provided it, verified it, and all was in order. Two weeks! Yet they have a 4-week timeline from reservation to exchange of contracts. - On requesting that they organise an MS Teams or Zoom or Google Meet chat (being that we are based overseas), they did not even respond to our request! Worst of all, they allowed their recommended conveyancer who responded to us stating that they are not going to partake in such a meeting! With us, the clients!!! And Keepmoat just kept silent! - Theyve got a tight 4-week reservation to exchange of contract timeline YET they cannot even do a refund within the same time. Alright, we got our refund. 3.5 weeks it took them. We heard some have not even got theirs. - They inadvertently sent us a mail re another buyer giving away confidential info on this buyer's plot, names, value of prop. - They do not even offer grievance assistance and are just happy to process a refund thinking it will correct the situation. If this happens on the Sales phase, what happens during the Customer Service phase when a buyer is living in one of their properties facing some issues? -They now re-advertised the plot we have cancelled at 3k above the original price we reserved. Real comedians! Lesson learned. Never rush your property search. Itll be your forever home at the end of the day. Keepmoat Homes, thank you for the lesson. Well not buy from you.
