        New to area and love fishing Just putting a review to mainly ask about the fishing.... Do you have to pay etc or can I just turn up and fish ? Is there a bailiff that comes round collecting money for rods ? Is it gated or open to public? I presume it's a small lake ? Is it a park lake ? Thanks

        Very nice walk around the lake today and the local fields. Lived on Donny all my life and never know about this little little lake. Very tidy with dog walkers walking around. People seemed very friendly. Plenty of alternative routes and local fields to explore. There is parking available. Also near to edlington community wood. There is a small exercise equipment on site too.

        I walk round the Martin Wells lake or known locally as the Edlo Brick Pond nearly every day with my dogs. It's a beautiful peaceful area. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
