Went to The Big Fake Festival in Newark, fantastic 5 days camping. Great bands, reasonably priced food and drink, nice area to camp with proper showers and running water and toilets. Definitely returning this year

What a weekend............ Camping was available from the Wednesday however due to work commitments we couldn't arrive untill the Friday. No issue with space and managed to bag some room near the big top event tent, still loads arrived after and loads of room. Set up and made our way, 2 minute walk and was a blast. Bar worked amazingly with a ticket system, this meant we didn't que for anymore than 1 minute. In fact most of the time we were served as soon as we got to the bar. The staff were extremely pleasant and you could just tell everyone loved there jobs. Drinks were a fixed price at 4, which was great and we topped up by popping to our tent Met some great people who made the experience even better, the dressing up was a different level with so many costumes. Food options was plentiful which was very reasonably priced, the only negative was the chairs were limited and used to watch the music rather than eat however not enough of an issue to drop the rating. We left Sunday, again due to work and worked smoothly. Will 100% be back next year with a bigger group of friend's to revisit. Well done fake festival team, a credit to you all.

Good atmosphere, and some great local gin, wine and beer. 1st time in Bedford so lots to learn. We were bit disappointed that the entry fee did not include anything as we have been to several and you usually get a glass (plastic or otherwise) to have for the day and a voucher for one drink. Also a menu with all the sellers and gins on offer would have been welcome. More food choices please, although the food we had was very good. All in all we had a very enjoyable day out in our local town.
