I have just been into church Street stores. I have been here several times over the last few years, always been a pleasure but tonight was an astounding service. The young gentleman had one minute before closing. He saw me pull up and waited for me to quickly go round the shop for essentials. How very lovely and professional he is. Thank you so much

I gave a 1 star review due to the lack of customer support and the lack of management!

Great shop, and selling more than you can think they would. Always helpful staff.

Felt like a criminal this time! This shop has it in for me! As a follow on from my previous horrid experience, today my daughter was asked for ID even though I, her 43 year responsible mother was buying a box of beers for my husband for father's day! I explained this at the till, the basket had the said beer in it that I lifted up onto the counter, NOT my daughter. But apparently because my daughter had touched the beer, I was buying it for her apparently! Never been so humiliated in all my life! I have spent a lot of money over the years in this shop, and this will be the last time. After waiting for at least 2 minutes like a lemon for service at the Post Office, was then rudely snapped at by a lady for not waiting in the queue outside! Didn't even see anyone waiting outside at all when I entered the shop. So, like you do, I went straight to the Post Office counter. Was patiently waiting as the lady was clearly busy, only to be be greeted with an "Oh! There's a queue outside"! Was made to feel like a criminal. so I swiftly got a couple of items from the shop and decided not to bother with the lovely lady. I am heading for Winkleigh tomorrow, so I will go to that Post Office. Always welcoming and friendly and make you fel like they want to serve you! In response to your reply, I am all for following safety measures due to Covid-19 and take umbridge to the fact you may imply otherwise. How about pulling staff up on their manners when they are clearly rude to customers? Or is that something you don't take seriously? It is not the first time coming into your store, that I have been made to feel like a naughty child by your staff by making an innocent mistake! We are customers, not little schoolchildren. I have had no apology for the way I was treated and made to feel. I shall not be using your services again! And don't patronise me with Merry Christmas!
