We had a composite door fitted from Logic and wish we hadn't. 1000 for a door that needed touching up from brand new?! (White spots showing through blue finish where the raised glass frame met the door face.) Also, the silicone that seals the glazed panel looks awful from outside at night when lit from inside. The boss of the company came out to improve it, but we were still unhappy with it. It still looks amateurish and untidy. I sent a detailed WhatsApp message and photographs...no reply. I messaged saying how poor it was that I received no reply. I received a reply saying no message or photos had been received, so I sent again. NO RESPONSE. EACH TIME I SENT THE MESSAGES AND PHOTOS, THERE WERE TWO BLUE TICKS, DENOTING RECEIVED AND SEEN. Below is the copied text along with photographs of the silicone: " Here is the original message, sent on the 15th December. Hi. Its (Name and address) (Blue door, that you came to look at the silicone last week) To be honest, feeling pretty deflated about having one of your doors fitted now. Again, to be honest, I think that to say it's a hand finished door to justify a rough finish is a cop out. Something can be hand finished pretty neatly, making a good, neat job, or it can be done messily and clumsily. I think it might be a bit better on (my) eye level than it was, but lower down, it's still allover the place. Its a shame ***** (the fitter) had to pay for it upon collection. He's done nothing wrong, so we feel we've had to pay him. I can't help wondering if you yourself would be happy for your friends and family, maybe also potential customers, to visit your home, at night and see the quality of the finish illuminated from inside. Attached are a couple of photos taken since your visit. I just haven't wanted to think about contacting you because I am just weary of buying something that cost a lot of money and it not living up to REASONABLE expectations. Would I reccommend your company's doors to anyone? No." It is a shame that AWFUL finishing has spoiled what is basically a seemingly well made door, and absolutely abysmal courtesy and customer care. I would advise anyone to give this company a wide berth!
