Stumbled across this business by chance whilst searching online for someone to repair a shoe that I was told was totally irreparable. Amazing service and such good value for money. And Natalie was so helpful and friendly. Happy to recommend.

Incredible craftsmanship, a shoe repair others had said repeatedly was not possible, this includes multiple cobblers in London, Nottingham, York, and Llandudno in North Wales! H.E. Payne and Sons have fixed my beautiful Prada peep toes, which had earlier had a botch job done when I took them for heel tip replacements in London, made worse by a second cobbler in London, who tried to fix them and got not one but two drill bits stick in the heel shaft and cut the heel!!!!! They come back with the original heels intact and all done with minimal fuss and maximum professionalism. I have been so impressed I am about to now send my Barbour boots to be fixed, another one everyone has said is not possible!! Thank you also to Natalie who handled all the communications and set my mind at rest!

Last weekend I stopped by with a pair of horse riding boots that I wear when out competing. One of the zips had open and I thought Id have to cut it open, eventually I was able to get the boot off. I stopped by at HE Payne in the hope that the boots could still be saved but prepared for the worst news (boots shopping, time to move on). After taking a quick glance at it I was asked if I had a couple of minutes, it was literally 2min and the boots were returned, saved and with a smile. I absolutely love this place! A family run business, a welcoming environment, great customer service and fantastic skills. I would recommend this shop to anyone that just like me is not too keen on purchasing new things and willing to restore their old shoes. Support your local businesses, keep these amazing skills and traditions going! :)

Just picked my shoe's up from having the heels repaired. Great service good customer care excellent, highly highly recommended. I would advise everybody to use H E Payne. Just picked some more shoes I have had repaired first class 28/2/2023
