The gardens are so lovely. The owners are so lucky to live in such a wonderful place. The house is private. Part of the National gardens scheme which donates proceeds to charities so the entrance fee is well worth every penny. May - daffs, bluebells, snowdrops, tulips, Lenton rose and more. Spectacular yew hedge 'sculptures'. Tadpoles and newts, lambs and pigs. Every nook there is a bench to pause and reflect. Really so charming and relaxing. Lovely cafe, recommend the sausage rolls, cheese muffins and cafetiere of coffee. Indoors and outdoors seating. Rustic loos.

Stunning gardens & lovely tea room. Very peaceful woodland garden with great display in the spring. There's a new small stumpery which looks very nice. Amazing rock garden with a waterfall and pond. Beautiful herbaceous borders which look good in the spring, but really are best in the summer. Dog-friendliness: My dog always has a great time
