Doddington Lodge Residential Care Home

The reviews on this site are out of date & refer to previous owners. This is a wonderful care home, a veritable home from home. My husband has just passed away there after almost two years of loving care in the dementia unit. The owners and staff are marvelous and make residents and their relatives feel part of a happy and loving family. The food is delicious, there are plenty of activities. I would recommend Doddington Lodge 101%.

My parents were the first to move in to Doddington Lodge for respite care, after it reopened, with all new staff and under new family management . The team headed by Linda have worked very hard to settle all residents in to this people orientated care home and to cater for all their needs with great attention to detail. The completely refurbished,accommodation is very comfortable and equipped beautifully, the food delcious and appetisingly prepared the grounds are beautiful. Family and other visitors are made to feel very welcome whenever they visit and everyone is on first and name terms. The doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, podiatrist, hairdresser etc are called as necessary. There are many and varied activities being laid on from art and craft and music to chair sports and yoga and alpaca feeding and dog petting and many more. Our experience has been a very good one and family have been put at their ease knowing that our parents are in good hands. So a big THANK YOU to Linda and her family and staff. We hope the home continues to do well, you certainly deserve it to.
