Mill lodge fishery

Brilliant stay, didn't catch but the kids and husband loved it. Wish we could have bought our own snacks on top of paying for their own food as ended up being expensive in the end as small children eat snacks more than anyone realises.. think if this changed it would be a lot better... maybe charge for the food, and the alcohol but soft drinks and snacks can be purchased too or bought with ?

We stayed in pod 8 and had a great time, lodges are amazing and all the food was delicious, staff are very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend

We stayed in pod 3. The staff were friendly! Josh was an exceptional host, who met all of our needs. The hot tub wasn't hot initially but heated up quickly; we had an error occur on the hot tub but Josh sorted it straight away. We loved the touch of the outdoor cinema! The food was delicious, and really worth the money. Wifi/ tele service was slow and glitchy, but it's expected being where you are.. so wasn't bothered. At the end of the day Josh came round to ask if there was anything else we needed before they left for the day. The heater also worked really well for the pod. Only improvements could be stocking up of the toilet facilities for women, and a wider variety of soft drinks and snacks. There is also a very friendly cat on sight, who will venture into your pod haha! Would visit again.

Staff incredibly polite and helpful, very organised. Food was amazing. Lake very well kept. Lodge clean and good amenities. Super fast response to any requests via their WhatsApp. Visit with confidence, reasonably priced food and drink.

Just got home from a 2 night stay in pod 5 if your planing on booking mill lodge please rethink and book somewhere else/better. Let's start with the good bits. Very nice lake unfortunately we didn't catch anything. Food is very nice but over priced. Now the bad bits. The mini bar didn't work so no cold drinks. The plugs by the kettle didn't work so thay had left an extension lead set up but was still on the coil witch is a fire hazard. No fire alarm in pod as it had been removed the ps4 lead was broken so unable to use that thay have a what's app room service that they don't check over 8 hours before they did check it by that time we had gone and got what we wanted my sister had pod 5 the outside lights didn't work when you speak to them about it there not bothered only offered less than 10 pound off my bill and really didn't like it that had even asked definitely won't be back all they want is your money
