        Popped in here due it being close to our hotel (holiday inn) and we're glad we did. Friendly welcome on arrival, food was delicious and service was excellent.

        Tried pie of the day: beef and red wine. My wife had the pork belly chef's special, and both were absolutely scrumptious. It's our first time eating here though we must have driven past a million times, will definitely visit again and certainly recommend.

        Gluten free menu is confusing and it eradicates all meals with gluten in when some could be substituted, e.g. gluten free bread. Need more gluten free choices. No gluten free lager. Food quality was nowhere near the standard of which youd expect for the price paid. Happy to pay those prices if getting quality food. Service polite but food order got mixed up, chips knocked over when putting food down. Allowed me to clean up the floor with a dustpan and brush when my baby finished eating!
