Unfortunately the evening before our arrival I developed tonsillitis and both my kids had colds so we sent an email and texts asking if there was anything they could do to rearrange. To be honest I wasn't expecting the request to move the date to be accepted, especially now after reading some of the replies the owners have given to reviews on here. However we didn't even get any sort of response whatsoever, not a single reply to say something along the lines of "sorry to hear you are not well, unfortunately we can't move the dates". After paying 100 it's shocking to think they didn't even have the courtesy to provide the very minimum of customer service during what was a really tough weekend for us. The kids were really excited to come here but there's not a chance we would ever consider coming back. Read all of the other reviews carefully before you book this place, they seem to value the customers money over everything else. UPDATE: I don't really buy the claim you tried to contact me, I still haven't had a reply and I think this is a fabrication. The email address you say "bounced back" worked perfectly fine 3 days after when you ironically sent a message asking how my stay was, thanks for that. As for the text I have just the one message which I sent explaining the situation, there has been no response on that number or any other. Thanks for the helpful tip about getting insurance, the reason you got the lowest score is for your customer service not the refund policy.

Me and my other half two days and one evening at the site. What a delightful site it is, the bunkers are very interesting, there are plenty of walks around the area and the site has all the essentials for cleaning and whatnot. Nigel was a great guide and a great hive of information about the surrounding area. Would recommend and will be visiting again is the warmer months.

Thank you, Nigel, for the World War One Trench tour. I would highly recommend. Nigel was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable whilst giving the tour we had a great time and also a time to reflect.
