Jane designed an excellent rear garden layout for our new house which included a 2 metre high terraced area for the banked back of the garden. Jane produced a very detailed planting plan based on our basic thoughts on what we wanted. We were delighted with the outcome when the terracing had been constructed and all the plants were planted in. Jane introduced us to a landscape contractor, Alex Clarke of County Lawns and Trees, who undertook the construction work and whose work we were very impressed with. Alex and his team worked extremely hard and produced a high quality result based on Jane's design. I have no hesitation in recommending Jane Follis as a superb garden designer for even the most complicated garden work.

Jane has been very professional throughout the process. She listened carefully to our high level ideas and turned a bare field into a a coherent and attractive design. She recommended many interesting and beautiful plants. We are looking forward to seeing the garden mature and provide years of enjoyment. I would highly recommend her pragmatic, professional and creative approach.

Sadly Jane was very over worked and therefore unable to devote her attention on my project. She did not listen to my draft and consequently devised a sketchy plan that had no bearing on my requirements. The worst of it all is she failed to respond to my emails. I would be very certain she is listening to you before you consider further engagement.

From the moment I met Jane, I knew that she would be able to take my ideas and turn them into something far better than I could ever imagine. Jane is incredibly talented and her passion shines through in everything she says and does. Her attention to detail is second to none whether that is for a planting scheme, a garden layout or simply the way she manages the project from start to finish. Her pragmatic approach means that there are never any nasty surprises. She keeps you informed every step of the way and in the event that other suppliers let you down (yes unfortunately this does happen) she goes straight into solution mode nothing is too much for her. I highly recommend Jane - shes brilliant if you have a clear idea of what you want and she will inspire you if you have no idea at all!
