Monarch are great. We were considering a water softener for a long time and wish we had got one sooner. Monarch install was so easy and the system is a doddle to use. You just need to Remember to keep it topped up With salt!

The water softener has worked well and I have definitely noticed a big reduction in the limescale around taps etc.

Purchased water softener. Approximately six months ago has never worked properly. Managed to eventually arrange for an engineers visit took ages. He said there was manufacturing fault a leak in a pipe. Said he'd fixed it. Worked for a few days and hasn't worked since. Arranged another engineers visit. The best they could do was early March. Unacceptable.

Happy to say, the new monarch water softener uses far less salt than our old one. Works just as well.

I had high expectations for a much needed system to remove Limescale from our water. We live in a high Limescale area, and suffer the scaled kettle, shower and damage to dishwasher and washing machine. I have now had the system installed for over 5 months, after seeing no evidence of improvement after 3 months I contacted Monarch, and not only made them aware of this but also the saturated kitchen cupboard due to the amount of condensation. I received a very rushed call, and had a point out the unanswered matters I had raised. I was assured that I would not see improvement until a few months time; I still havent and still have a battle with Limescale in my kettle and Im still using Limescale cleaning products to remove the build up on the showers. I was advised to insulate the pipes and canister under the sink. I have done this and placed plastic trays under the canister and pipe work. I have practically removed everything from the cupboard such as my cleaning products, which is annoying. And still, the area is saturated with at times several millimetres. This has caused damage to the kitchen unit carcass, despite my efforts to rectify this. In short for the cost of this product I am very disappointed and feel that despite being assured that this is the right system I have made a very expensive mistake. Unfortunately I have to give one star to be able to post this review, but it doesnt even warrant that. I know have more problems to sort out due to the water damage from the condensation!
