I visited this store yesterday 12/04/2023 with my young nephew. I was appalled by the behaviour of the staff. They were loud, swearing and very intimidating. It was disgusting and not welcoming at all

Very disappointed took items to shop to help charity though they needed it, to have a very rude member of staff greet me abruptly then look over what I had brought and said a bit of paint on on item a small scratch on another and refuse them, though they sold second hand items which would show signs of wear and tear. Felt very upset and belittled. In future will put things in bin. Should not be treated like this when all you want to do is help.

Absolutely disgusted at the 2 men who came to collect my sofa that I was donating. Its a 300 DFS sofa in perfect condition, smelled lovely as it had been cleaned. They came in smelling of smoke, took one of the cushions and said no I'm not taking it, it smells. It smelled of strawberries. They were the ones who smelled. The sofa is in perfect condition and for them to come into a pristine home insulting me when they clearly don't know what soap is, is absolutely disgusting. How ungrateful can you seriously be. No wonder this shop is going so downhill, they are vile ,rude individuals.

Manager here is lovely but constantly thwarted by corporate marketing strategy which renders it a bargain-free zone. I have a message for those besuited head-office bods: Diss has lost 4 charity shops already this year: get real with your pricing strategy or suffer a similar fate!
