Stayed at peak view shepherds huts twice (Woolys hut for new years and Eric hut for bank holiday). The site is lovely, the views are beautiful and idyllic and the place is full of nature and tranquility. You will fall asleep and wake up to all of the lovely birds, sheep and wildlife. The huts are really lovely and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. We bought our dog along and he loved it. They even provided dog bowls, dog Mat and dog towel which I thought which was a nice personal touch. Welcome hamper includes milk, butter, pastries, biscuits, treats (all really nice thanks). The bathroom also comes with amentities such as soap/shower gel/shampoo so if you do forget anything everything is there. We enjoyed using the comfy robes provided also. Kitchen has also got everything you need including washing up facilities so you dont need to bring anything other than your food and snacks. When we went back for our stay we stayed in the Eric hut which again was lovely and a little more spacious than the woolly hut but both are really lovely to be honest. All the beds and sofas are comfortable. Tv has a dvd player so would recommend if you like watching movies to bring some DVDs along. Also we had a lovely time in the hot tub - thank you. The patio area of the huts is really lovely too, we enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner outside. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby who deliver food to the huts, we had a dominoes but Glossop town full of choice and dog friendly places too. Glossop town is nice for a mooch, pint or food. We enjoyed some lovely picturesque dog walks at Swallows wood, Longdendale trail and the Trans Penine Trail. We had a lovely walk to Hadley on the trail as well where we stopped off at a lovely dog friendly cafe and also got picnic food from the local Tesco there and had it on our way back on the walk overlooking the reservoir and mountains. It really is a lovely place in the world and Id highly recommend staying at Peak View Shepherds Huts - luxury, peaceful, romantic, quiet, relaxing stay (and bonus you can bring your fur baby along to enjoy too!)

We've just spent three nights staying in Wooly's Hut and have enjoyed it immensely. The hut itself is really cosy with a comfy bed, a TV on the wall, a sofa opposite a dinky woodburning stove, a small kitchen that's perfect for making bacon cobs and a bathroom with a toilet, basin and a perfect sized shower. Everything that you could need has been thought about and provided ... From fluffy towels and bathrobes to get you to the hot tub and back, to toiletries and a basket of welcome goodies that includes croissants, cookies, cakes, jams, butter and milk. The hut tub is so nice to sit in of an evening. It was ready heated and waiting for us when we arrived... just make sure you don't put too much wood in the burner as it'll get too hot and you'll have to wait a while for it to cook down before you can relax in it. Would we stay again? Yes! In a heartbeat.

Recently had a two night stay at Erics hut, it was perfect, such a comfortable bed and a cosy shepards hut. The hosts welcomed us with a hamper filled with crossiants, christmas pudding and mince pies which was a lovely touch. They also helped us to light up the log burner for the hot tub in the evening. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

We are here now 07.11.2022 in willow hut. Wow what can I say other than absolutely amazing. Clean comfy and looks amazing. The owners are second to none very friendly, brilliant warm welcome and very knowledgeable. We are already looking at dates we can come back. Wish we were here for longer but will make the most of our two nights here. If you have not been here get booking you will not regret it.
