Hawthorn Boarding Kennels and Cattery

We are extremely happy with this kennel! Probably the best in Newcastle! Our pup is very excited whenever we go and the people seem to genuinely care for the pets they board. Big fields for them to run and decent size for their private rooms. Especially love the pic updates we get on their fb page! I suggest booking in advance especially for the summer as it gets fully booked quite fast. Definitely reccommended!

My 2 dogs stay here regularly, they are well looked after and exercised and I feel confident leaving them for a stay. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable about your dogs. I would highly recommend this kennels

Highly recommend Hawthorns, both the management and staff are all fantastic. I always said I wouldn't send my girls to a kennels but this place has totally changed my mind and I wouldn't let them go anywhere else. There go weekly for day care and also have stayed several times for boarding. Cleaned to a high standard, amazing priced and so a lovely place to be. Thank you for looking after my girls like family.

We bring our dog to these kennels when we are on holiday etc. and he absolutely loves it there. He gets plenty of exercise and socialising with other dogs which is great to see on the FB posts. They've also been awarded (again) for top 3 kennels by best 3 rated so you know it's not just my opinion on how good they are! The staff are great and genuinely love what they do so don't hesitate in giving them a try

I cant recommend Hawthorn Boarding kennels enough! Our dog Evo stays here on a regular basis and LOVES it, despite suffering with separation anxiety. The staff are friendly, professional and loving. The care Evo received from them is outstanding; staff were more than willing to administer Evos allergy and ear medication and updated us regularly with photos and videos. During his last stay Evo destroyed his bed, Mandy and her staff kindly provided a new bed for him which we were able to take home with us. We certainly wont be using any other kennel and will continue to travel from Amble to use their services.
