Went to have my wheels refurbished, but they couldn't get my locking wheel nuts off because they had buggered them up by clearly using an impact wrench on them. I was told to pick my car up and to have the locking wheel nuts romoved somwhere else. Because of the state of the locking bolts and the key I have got to buy some replacements, They wouldn't pay for or sort out a replacement key because in their words "it happens all the time with these locking wheel nuts", well of course it will if you use an impact wrench on them! When I went to pick my car up the wheel bolts on one of the wheels that they had loosened were all only in by 1 or 2 threads, luckily I had brought a wheel brace with me to tighten them up. Also as I got in my car there was one of my wheel bolts in the floor well that had been damaged and the thread in the hub was also damaged, so I had to re cut the thread and put in a new bolt. I can't believe that they were going to let me drive away with my car in this state. They were saying they couldn't touch my tyre pressure monitors because they would be liable, but wouldn't they be more liable if my wheel fell off due to not fastening my wheel studs and leaving one out!!
