Rooms: Me and my partner stayed in the woodlands hut golden crest and it was amazing! So clean and equipped with everything you need for a perfect mini weekend break. Had a kettle and fridge! Our sleep was fantastic on the mattress it was ever so comfy. I'd definitely come back!! Safety: Very safe. Walkability: Amazing view from your window of the woodlands Lodge with peaceful surroundings. Food & drinks: Amazing cafe on site that sales a variety of drinks from hot to alcohol and lovely breakfast or lunch. The stunning home made cakes looked amazing, I did get one of each as I couldn't leave them .

Food & drinks: Food and drink very expensive. Main seating area outside and unfortunately pestered by flies and wasps constantly, particularly bad in summer months. Playground: Large play area, however, all the equipment is a little old and sadly worse for wears. New areas include a splash pad and mini golf. There is a small soft play area however again, it could do with some attention. Restrooms: One toilet including baby changing in the cafe. Multiple toilets in outside cabin. Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be kept on lead and only allowed in a small area.

Honestly, it's the best place I've been Fairwood is an extremely peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The staff are lovely and willing to help you out. The cafe food is great and priced as you would expect. The lakes are clean and well kept. The lodges exceed expectations, clean, well sized, and not overpriced. The tree houses are perfect for a couple and priced well. The pitches' side of the park are far enough away from each other so that you have privacy, and the best part is the facilities (toilets, shower, waste and water) are clean and about a 30 second walk apart. We had no problem showering, and the water stayed hot. The fishing side is great also with a small angling shop on site, of which everything was well priced. I will continue to visit fairwood lakes holiday park as much as possible and the majority of the negative reviews are from people who DONT understand how real life works and that sometimes unfortunately things go wrong or are missed... Just contact staff on site and be kind and kindness will be given back.
