I started a claim in March for a faulty recliner button and paint from the Leather peeling on the first visit it was a wasted day as when the technician arrived did not have the part or the testing kit as had changed vans. Told me I'd get a call in a few days to rearrange an appointment. A week later had heard nothing back so called them to be told the technician left no notes do they'd need to chase him. Finally got a call to rebook and the faulty button was repaired and leather tested. I was told I'd get a call back within ten days. Again no call so I called them back to find out they had close my claim and as oil's had caused the peeling over Time it was not covered under accidental damage. I tried to argue this and got no a total waste of my time and money to cover and protect an expensive sofa and waste two months of my time dealing with them.

We bought a new suit of furniture last year and the sales agent asked if we wanted it covered by guardsman insurance we decided to get the insurance just in case the furniture arrived a few weeks later and we were delighted with it our little dog was also impressed with it and 2 days later we were out for the day and when we got back discovered that the brat of a dog had eaten the zippers off 3 small cushions and a zipper off the main back piece 2 days later we remembered the insurance and contacted them I have to say they were all so helpful and replaced the damaged covers with new ones From our experience the staff were so pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to get it sorted thanks joe and Margaret Tobin

Stay away from covering goods with them. As everyone mentioned in the reviews section.. they will find every reason not to go through with the claim. Phone line interrupting and can't really understand each other. As a customer, you have to do more work then them on the actual claim.. they are requesting for loads of details/photos/reasons. Legit scam !
