Soul Bernadine

Both of my daughters attend Bernadine School of Dance and have done for roughly 2 years now. From the very start they were welcoming and encouraged them both to join in even when they were unsure or didnt have much confidence. Both have gained more confidence within these two years and have different abilities and yet theyre still treated the same and are continued to be supported and encouraged throughout. Natalie, Bernadine & the team also push each individual to their full potential and dont often let them coast for too long. They offer a number of classes and its great that they offer trial sessions before fully committing. All children are included in the annual show also! They do offer merchandise through themselves, there is never any pressure to buy they just let you know whats available, cost and when we expect to receive it. My girls thoroughly enjoy going every week and even in the pandemic they took to zoom and issued certificates to lift their spirits. I would highly recommend them

Demanding for monthly payments. Bernadine has her favourite dancers which is actually only the ones who join several classes and pay her more money than the rest of the dancers who only attend one class. Asks for more money at short notice for "competitions" takes the money then the doesn't actually organise the competition and just says sorry the teacher was sick! Or whatever excuses she feels like at the time. Constantly pushes to buy branded dance items which are very overpriced for cheap rubbish and ironically you can only buy these through her!, spent hundreds of pounds with this company and on departure of my child leaving the group, there's no appreciation she will just remove you from any social groups and keep hold of any money you are entitled back as a refund for classes and competitions that never happened. Please avoid this group. Find another group that does this for passion and teaching not completely for profit!
