I'm a current member of Restore I've been with them for the last 1 years now. I will give you the truth as there's a few misinformed/false reviews. The Restore staff team are very welcoming, friendly and supportive, we have regular check ups with our set wellbeing co-ordinator who helps you work towards your recovery goals, with small and manageable steps. We have free reign to do what activities what are available within Restore. We have access to the Community Garden so planting fruit & vegetables which when harvested which can sell in small local stall or if we have too much we'll give it away. As well as shaping the garden. Woodworking, whatever you can think of and skill to do you can create, the staff trained in workshop will help you with whatever you're creating if you need it. This is where I spend most my time creating Coldframes for the Community garden. Arts and Crafts, you can do anything from colouring, paintings, paper mch, pottery all sorts. Currently we're in planning stages for a brand new building to be placed in the bottom end of the Community garden 2 years from now. But overall they are very helpful, but please remember this is a mental health CHARITY they cannot cater to everyone's needs, upon trying to join you will meet the staff and they'll see if they can help you or not. And if not they'll direct you to a contact or organisation who's better suited to help with your mental health issues.
