I bought a car from a garage member. Even if I insisted that the car needed a clutch, the salesman/mechanic confirmed that there was no problem. However, two days later he admitted it and I asked him to change the clutch. I paid the money he asked me for without any complaints. That same afternoon I discovered that the clutch made a strange noise and the next day I asked him to take a look. Fortunately, I discovered the problem because I don't know what damage would have been done if I hadn't discovered it. The mechanic fixed the problem but asked me for extra money knowing it was not my fault but his. I paid the extra money he asked for, while at the same time I had already spent money on a taxi and petrol on miles that I needed to do the day I was without a car. Apart from the clutch cost, I spent futhermore about 100 plus for no reason. I am quite rightly an unhappy customer, and even though I am not a mechanic I seemed to have better knowledge. For this reason I wrote that commet. Amateurs. Service: Transmission
