Im actually staying here at present. Myself and G are staying here while we find a temp home between moving address which has been a nightmare ( huge understatement ) ..anyhow .. had a little trouble booking in at first as I only had cash and no car to get me from my location at that moment to a place I could bank my cash to pay for the room but got there in the end .. why is my money no good anymore anywhere, its cash but hotels seem to only accept card payments all round ? Stevie the receptionist who greeted me on arrival, was very welcoming, lovely, warm and smiley girl, what you need after lots of stress and she put us in a lovely room, cosy yes but a little cold on that particular night with no heating or hot water due to an issue with the boiler but it happens and its now fixed and working fine in the room Im in now. We moved too one of the coach house rooms, nothing flash but nothing to complain about either and its ideal location for Gs current work place travel. Theres a shop 50yards away and the area although the hotel located on a busy main road isnt particularly noisy and its actually a very cute and pleasant spot. Staff are all lovely and warm as far as I have personally encountered and I cant complain .. Id recommend it as ideal if on a budget or for small events venue also .. and for anyone passing through really. Xx
