Drew's Pond woods is a delightful place to spend a couple of hours. The woods ramble over small hills and tumble down to a bubbling stream and then to Drew's Pond itself. There are various places on the outskirts to park a car and then you follow sloping gravelly paths or steps created down the hillsides. The woods are thoughtfully maintained by volunteers and there are some good examples of fence laying throughout the woods. Throughout the year, visits will be rewarded with clouds of snowdrops, drifts of bluebells or fragrant cascades if wild garlic. The walks are gentle and manageable if you can walk on gravelly paths. It's a lovely place to visit.
