The Lansdowne Surgery

Absolutely disgusted at the response to my request to see either a doctor or nurse this morning!! I was sure I had infection from insect bite and needed antibiotics. Was told No appointments and should go to minor injuries unit! So had to go 12 miles to be told within 5 minutes of seeing nurse had infection and needed antibiotics. Should have been seen locally. I have to add I do not frequent use the doctors surgery last visit being at least 2 years ago.

Absolutely rubbish kept on hold for ages to be cut off again and again. whats the point of phoning for help if you cant get through to them.

The people who work there really care about their patients. I looked at reviews when I chose Landsdown and I'm so glad I did, I've never been disappointed by their thoughtfulness and kind responses. I'm an expensive patient as I have a lot of significant illness. But I've never seen an impatient or ignorant doctor or nurse, and they have never tried to avoid giving me treatment or medication. I'm really glad I'm wtih them.
