    Came to Jamie with a shoulder injury from work. Following some mobility sessions and personal training, my shoulder feels great and stronger than ever. Really impressed and thoroughly recommend.

    I trained with Jamie from BirdFitness in weekly one to one sessions for just under a year. We started by setting clear and realistic fitness goals, from then on all of my sessions were personal and tailored to suit me. Jamie is social, encouraging and reliable when it comes to booking and completing sessions with him. Any health-related questions I had were promptly answered in sessions or by text. In the first three to six months I saw significant progress and in just under a year I achieved all my goals, I felt and looked fitter, I was happier and felt motivated to carry on. After this, I purchased a BirdFitness 6-week programme, the workouts were clear and easy to follow, again this service was tailored to suit me and my goals. Would definitely recommend! :)

    A few years ago, I had to stop running because of arthritis, which affected my feet quite badly. The alternative was to exercise at home using a rowing machine, cross trainer and Body Sculpt. Walking became a chore, made my feet painful after a while, but I persisted. All these were adequate for my needs at the time. Unfortunately, I had to stop exercising because of a shoulder injury, but continued to go on walks. After recovering from my injury, I decided it was time to get back my health, fitness, well-being and lose some weight gained. Seven months ago, I enlisted the services of a Personal Trainer - Jamie of Bird Fitness. It proved to be the best decision Ive made. From the start he considered my health, goals, gave me the extra motivation and confidence to do more than I thought. He is considerate, dedicated, encouraging, and pushes me beyond what I think Im capable of, as well as listening. Training sessions are hard, different each week and has taken me to a fitness level not enjoyed for a long time. The bonus is I feel amazing, very healthy and energized. I can now enjoy going on long walks without my feet hurting. Exercising has helped ease my arthritis. My eating habits have changed for the better and Ive lost 10.5kg in weight, dropped two dress sizes. People I know and not seen for a while have noticed huge difference in my appearance and comment on how well I look. Dont make age a barrier, it isnt Im 67 so it is never too late, the advantages are enormous and beneficial. Jamie has helped me achieve my goals and more. He gives lots of advice and help with nutrition. So, if your looking to get fit and healthy, look no further.
