Service for food was a little slow

Our fourth Sunday lunch visit and so disappointing. We know its not a cheap place but we encouraged our family to visit because wed had such great experiences in the past. Could not have been any more let down from start to finish. Completely ripped off with the food.. paid for 3 executive boards (150) and they shoved our food all on one board. 30 per person and got one slice of meat each!! One bowl of veg and one bowl of potatoes for 6 people which they say is unlimited but after asking for more veg and potatos 3 times and still being ignored, we gave up. We ended up with a TINY plate of food each.. crazy to think we could have eaten more at a 12 carvery! On top of this, the food was absolutely stone cold and the service was terrible. The staff were not very attentive at all.. and when we complained, we didnt feel like it was dealt with the best it could have been. We have recommended to quite a few people since our first visit but safe to say we wont be returning again and cannot recommend at all. Just another place that was great at first but has let itself go downhill by completely cutting corners to save money and rip people off.

Birthday celebration in a Pod...wanted to do something different to celebrate my husbands birthday and this did it. Lovely food, place, service from Rosie and her team. The pods can accomodate up to 8 people, you get a heater which kept us 'toastie' all evening and wonderboom for your own musical entertainment - great idea! The pods have lights inside around the base and door, with overhead garden and perimeter lights to create that perfect ambience at night time. The pods are robust and provide a great level of sound proofing so you won't disturb your dinning neighbours and provide privacy without being hidden away in a room. The garden has lots of undercover seating areas and astro turfed which is perfect for the pods. Rosie and her team were lovely, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Always on hand if you needed anything without interupting or constantly being in/out of the pod. The food was lovely and portion size good. If struggling to finish your meal they will pop leftovers in a container to take home. They even surprised us with a birthday cake and sang 'happy birthday' - thank you! I was sceptical when booking the pod but was not disappointed, we all had a great evening and will definitely be back. Thank you for making the birthday memorable.

Great food, lovely place, nice service, expensive but that's the way things are going so it's worth it. O and get a pod for the garden it's a must
