Desford Medical Centre

I've used several surgeries over the years, all of which treated me like a piece of meat, or just a number on their records, then I moved to Desford. The staff on reception are very friendly and professional, and always willing to help in any way they can, and treat me like a person. Dr Mainie and Dr Barket are absolutely and truly amazing! Between them they have managed to sort out problems I've had for over 20+ years in just a few weeks, and even managed to get blood out of me which is a big deal as I have a phobia of needles. There both very human and compassionate people who genuinely care about their patients, and have pride in what they do. I can't begin to praise the surgery and staff enough, and in my oppinion there is no better surgery. Thank you Desford Medical Centre!

Today I went to Desford medical Centre for the first time and what a lovely experience I had. Highly Recommend Dr A Caratela! He was so helpful and caring with my daughter today. He went above and beyond so thank you for all your help! Even the Reception staff was polite and helpful. Great experience Ive had today :)

You can never get through. You ring bang on at 8am and line is busy for UpTo 20 minutes when u do finally get through no appointments. Shocking and the the wait when you do get to see a doctor run well over 30 minutes after you appointment time.

Reluctant to give great reviews for fear of our Wonderful Head of Practice being evermore Overwhelmed! At these most difficult/challenging times, The Head of Practice along with his Partner are working extremely and caring hours, We are so fortunate to receive person centered care...Reception Assistants are knowledgeable/ friendly/ helpful as always...Thank you all very much
