I completed the Personal Growth programme with Mel, at Embrace U Consultancy. I found it most helpful and allowing me to grow and understand my personal growth. Mel also helped with my current job - how to deal with certain situations and actually its not helped me in my work but personally too and allowed me think about my own perception. I can't thank Mel enough for the help and support she has given me. Due to Covid times I have been not been able to get back into it, however later on this year I am going back to work with Mel. If you have not had a mentor and then I recommend Embrace U all the way. Thank you Mel for all you help and support last year, you are amazing!! Jaz

Hi everybody, My name is Freyja. At the start of this journey Ill be honest with you I wasnt very confident at all, I had little to no faith in myself, My abilities or skills. I was very easily discouraged & felt as though personally I would never be able to achieve my goals and aspirations due to previous setbacks & just the cards I had been dealt throughout the years. I was extremely nervous to speak with Melanie for the first time but after that first initial phone call I immediately felt comfortable she has such a down to earth caring aura & the ability to make anybody feel welcomed & worthy almost immediately. My 1-2-1 sessions with her have been extremely helpful to me, Theyve helped build my self esteem, Confidence, Motivation & Self worth. I feel a lot better within myself & like I can do whatever I put my mind to! You just need to believe and not be so down on yourself all the time haha Im not all the way there yet by any means but Im definitely on the way. Motivation is a big thing the sessions have helped me with for example Melanie taught me how to create an action plan which has been really beneficial for me to not feel so daunted by my goals in life and to feel proud of all achievements no matter how big or small! Id say the thing I enjoyed most about the sessions was having somebody actually listen to me, And have a good laugh & a cry along the way haha. Now its ending Im feeling confident, Confident within myself that I can go on & achieve the things I put my mind to. No matter where youve come from or whatever your circumstances have been up to this day you can achieve anything. My one Golden nugget from the experience is actually a proverb Melanie said that really struck a cord with me Each one teach one Its about sharing your knowledge with the purpose of benefitting others as they will in turn pass the information onto others themselves & the cycle continues. Id highly recommend Embrace U to anybody thats reading this. Anybody thats feeling discouraged, Or unsure how to look towards the future, Anybody that suffers from low confidence or even just need someone to give you that reassurance. Its been a pleasure working with Mel, Thank you !

I went to visit Mel back in January to discuss my transferable employment skills after being employed by one employer in Derby for 30 years. She was very warm & welcoming & gave me great advice on moving forward into the future showing me genuine understanding & empathy towards my debilitating ill health & gave me confidence, positivity & reassurance in the prospect of finding myself a new job. I would highly recommend Mel & her services to anyone seeking to improve their employability & personal career development.

I recently spoke to Melanie Waldron of Embrace U Consultancy. She is an excellent consultant and was able to guide me in how to grow my Financial Education business. Melanie pointed out some ways of networking and how this has benefitted her. She also made some great suggestions regarding how to market my business and the courses that were available to support this. I highly recommend Melanie. Her advice was thorough and I am really pleased that I was able to speak with her. Thanks again Melanie!

This experience has really enriched my life in ways I didn't know were possible. Before I started this course I felt very useless, I didn't recognise my strengths, I was way too shy to speak to others and I couldn't see how I could make a career for myself. Thanks to the friendly course leader Melanie, I was able to come out of my shell. She helped me to look at all of the things I have achieved in the past to show me that I can keep being proactive to move forward. Since starting the course I've become much more confident and I'm now able to easily have conversations with others. With the knowledge I have picked up from the course, both about my personal growth and employablilty, I am now working towards setting up my own business. I would reccommend this course to everyone! We all have areas where we can grow.
