This was a fantastic station to both arrive and depart at, with appropriately sized platforms for the different trains! The design is modernized, navigation is easy through the signs and the platforms are well connected. Departure boards are kept up-to-date, staff were friendly and cleanliness had been maintained!

Generally quite good, situated fairly close to the city centre so access to the shops is easy. The station is a decent size, although it's small in comparison to other cities, it's fairly modern but is starting to show it's age in certain areas. Tickets are pre bookable; however, there's also a staffed ticket office and self service machines. An assortment of shops and a coffee shop is located in the main entrance as are cash machines. There's also coffee shops, waiting rooms and toilets on the platforms. The staff are friendly, polite, and really helpful and the station is easy to navigate. The platforms are incredibly cold and windy during the winter so wrap up warm.

Disabled with autism and ADHD plus stoma walk with a walker tried get on train to Wakefield Westgate 11.46am was pushed out the way and refused to be allowed on train staff told me disabled people with walkers a nuisance and burden allowed other people push way past me get on train instead 12 people got on train but I weren't allowed
