Oakwood Surgery

Uncaring and unhelpful. Maybe that's down to the individual you talk to, maybe not. It's literally driven me insane trying to get a repeat prescription let alone make an appointment. This is the future, I think we'd be better off doing it the American way, never thought I'd say that. Could be that's what they want.

How do people with COPD exasperation get advice.Use to drop sputum test to check for infection. Feeling unwell after a couple of weeks. Started rescue meds just in case

The doctor was so rude and as though we were an inconvenience for him, even though we had done an E-consult prior to the appointment and been asked to come in and see someone. Very disappointing.

Absolutely hopeless. The only appointments available online are for 2-3 weeks in advance. You try and visit (only want a repeat prescription) and you are told to call them.... Good luck with that as you will be on hold for over an hour with no answer. I tried calling them once when I was outside, there were zero patients in the waiting room and no body behind the window in reception, and they still didn't answer the phone . The waiting room is covered in polythene and hazard tape, if you manage to get inside there are about 3 plastic chairs only. If I could avoid this practice I would, if I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely hopeless...

Every single day since moving to this surgery, i have called 8am on the dot and it says straight away after choosing option 2 to book an appointment, they are receiving a high volume of calls and to call back later and then cuts off. I repeatedly call back and it does the same, until someone finally answers to inform me all the appointments have gone and to try again tomorrow. Ive asked if i could come in to book an appointment to be told No! You cant! Were a very busy surgery. I have medication on repeat which i needed to get put back on repeat as i have moved house and had to change surgeries. I am down to my last strip which was explained to the receptionist, and was just told, you just have to keep trying to call. Absolutely disgusting. I am now looking for a different doctors surgery.
