Royal Mail Post Box

I've been using the Mickleover Post Office on the Parade ever since I started working from home and I've found the service first class on every occasion. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful, The shop has a good stock of stationery and other useful products. Just what's required to support a home based business.

This is a great post box. Clean and always open! It's rarely full which is more than can be said for the Post Office next to it! The Post Office is often full, mainly due to the chap who runs it needing to have a chat with all his customers in order to impart his incredible knowledge of all subjects. This is fine if you have plenty of time and don't mind standing in the rain due to social distancing while he has a chat with everyone. If you have lots of time, take a folding chair, drink and snacks, and settle in for the long haul. Alternatively, go to the Post Office down the road which is run more like a business and less like a social club/drop in centre.

This is not open 24 hours it is 9.30 till 17.30 but closes at lunch, not sure how long.
