Its very old outdated and smells things are falling to bits I was deceived and showed a different review in which the place is nicer I was told there was people my age (40) to 50 and its full of elderly with dementia Im not staying here to die Id rather be homeless

Dear Dodgeviper Dear Sir It is hard to stay neutral in regards to your comment. Everyone would want to reach an elderly age with good health at their own houses next to someone that we love. However, life sometimes is not as good to us as we would like it to be. I understand that you own opinion comes from the lack of understanding and acceptance to this very situation. Unfortunately, your comment does not reflect the reality, infact it does have a negative impact on establishment and staff working there. I do not think that you realise how much hard work and attention our staff and directors give to our residents. Staff working there is approipriately qualified which has really friendly approach towards the residents, spend valuable time with them. Directors make sure that all issues are solved immidaitely at hand and it is extrmeley firendly for both staff and residents. The kitchen is really good, it has wide range of dishes to choose from which I would compare to the one we can all cook at our homes. Therefore, as a member of staff who have worked there for number of years I wish you sir lots of health, understanding and patience in this new situation you have found yourself. Everyone who is reading these comments I cannot recommend Lavender Lodge enough as place to live or to work.

Absolutely lovely! The caring and attention that the staff provide is far the best I've witnessed. Very impressed with the management's drive to always improve and adapt to the needs of the service users.

The atmosphere here is very much like being at home and this makes you feel like part of a large family. The staff are very polite and kind, within minutes it's very clear the care given to both visitors and those inhabiting is second to none. It is also obvious that those who work at Lavender place the welfare of all as first priority which is very refreshing. It is my pleasure to recommend Lavender Lodge to all.
