Derby Ki Aikido Club

I travel to sensei Shaw's classes from North Yorkshire on a regular basis. I have found a very friendly club with a knowledgeable and patient teacher along with plenty of experienced and skilled aikidoka to practice with. I belong to a Ki Aikido club in North Yorkshire and have been doing aikido for 15 years, but our local club has a shortage of higher grades to practice with to enable my continued progress. Sensei Shaw's club fulfils this need.

Great club, a dynamic form of the art and close training partners. Always friendly with great teaching through all of the techniques. The ki federation brings an oportunity to go on wider courses and meet others from all over the uk and over seas too.

Friendly, supportive, caring, club, a real family atmosphere in which to learn and grow at your own pace. Individual needs are met by our excellent Sensei who truly lives by the motto of Aikido for life!

Awesome class. Friendly club who are really supportive and a great teacher who takes the time to really teach the moves and has a million different ways to show you when you get stuck (and lots of patience)
