Nice food but a male waiter wearing tight clothes thinks that he is the owner of the shop and was very biased toward us . I asked for some wipes and I didn't get them until I asked for a third time. It took a while to get our food and our rice didn't come. While we were ordering, the waiter I talked about previously was very restless and left while we were about to order something!

Very bad attitude of the waiter. Even the 10 year old kid felt rude by his behaviour. He was throwing the menu card at us, when we were ready for order he was so inpatient and was not paying attention at all. The way he was speaking was not polite . But there was some other executive people on the other table and the same waiter was very polite and seemed to be very happy to serve them . It was our 1st visit to the restaurant and this will be the last as well. Wont recommend to others. Giving 1Star for the food otherwise they don't deserve any star at all.

I'm writing a review of my experience I had a few years ago, so please don't bash me on it that why I'm so late, I am writing review of all those places I have gone around the world and pinning as per my memory as the reference so take it as how the restaurant used to be. I was on second visit to the UK and on business visit in Derby. Following bad experience on the first visit in Newbury, I'd decided to tell the waiter that the food to be authentic, in other words, they can keep sugar out of my food. I and my colleague ordered Rogan Josh and Chicken dish and it was absolutely delicious, so much so that I claimed it to be the best Indian food I have ever eaten in my life. Being Indian, it was a total shocking experience to find the authentic taste outside India, I was biased to begin with but the food at Viceroy has shattered my negative bias.
