Staff are very good. Only things that stopped me giving full rating was they had no black pudding on breakfast and when I complained there was nothing left to eat on the hot plate. One snapped at me they was cooking. I went back and the hot plate was empty again. I caught an African woman filling tupperware so told the server. They did nothing. Just left her perched on the hot point filling everything they had. Sending it upstairs and coming back for more.

Bathroom door locks fail with you stuck inside - since they don't routinely clean rooms until after your stay, you could be very hungry and cold by the time you are found and rescued. Their rescue team comes armed with a butter knife rather than a toolbox. Random fire alarms during the night. Website lies about King size beds - they have 0 in the entire Midlands region. Trying to see the funny side of it all but it is a very stressful place to spend a night, with very serious health and safety faults, trading standards breaches and despite several months of trying to address this with them in private, there is zero indication that they won't just do it again to you when you stay there. Don't be fooled by the "Good night's sleep guarantee" or their other public lies - even with this illegal and terrible experience they wouldn't honour that worthless promise. Section 75 credit card claim and a complaint to trading standards are unfortunately now required.
